Once again, we found ourselves basking in the glory of another spectacular day at Wedmore Golf Club this past Saturday.

The weather granted us clear skies and warm sunshine, though some of us bore witness to the inevitable aftermath in the form of interesting tan lines—or, for the less fortunate, sunburn. But let's not name names, Charlie Lane.
Our heartfelt gratitude extends to everyone who joined us and to our sponsors whose generous support enabled us to raise vital funds for Brain Tumour Research, a cause that resonates deeply with our community. As many of you are aware, this day holds special significance as we come together to honour the memory of our dear friend Jim Hacking, the former owner of Sun Valley Nut Co. This year's gathering held even greater poignancy with the presence of Jim's sister, Franki, and her husband Geoff. Franki kindly presented the esteemed Jim Hacking trophy to Michael Moore, a worthy recipient.

We are deeply thankful to our suppliers, whose support and contributions played an instrumental role in making this day possible. A special shout-out goes to Walkers, Pepsico, Burts, Tayto, Humdinger, and Pipers for their invaluable contributions.

Our appreciation also extends to those who travelled from afar to join us in Somerset, including our dedicated salesmen from branches in Newbury and Halesowen, whose presence added to the camaraderie of the day.

After the trophy presentation, the joyful vibes kept on rolling as Tristan’s band, 'Randomly Stealing Vegetables', treated us to an unforgettable performance. Their music added a special touch to the atmosphere, leaving smiles on everyone's faces and wrapping up the day's celebrations on a high note.
